To treat skin lesions that are susceptible to scarring, such as surgery, everyday cuts and burns, or cosmetic procedures, Mepiform offers its silicone dressings, which soften red or purplish scars.

These sheets, which can be used on both old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars, use Safetac technology, which develops an original silicone contact layer to minimize pain when removing the dressing. It also prevents damage to the wound and accelerates the natural healing process.

In the case of old scars, depigmentation of the scar has been observed after five weeks of treatment, making it match the color of the skin.
